Advantages of DuPont PET plastic raw materials in the United States:

1. It has good mechanical properties, with an impact strength 3-5 times that of other films, and good bending resistance.

Characteristics of DuPont PET plastic raw materials in the United States:

PET is a milky white or pre yellow highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. Creep resistance, fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and dimensional stability are good, with low wear and high hardness. It has the greatest toughness among thermoplastic materials: good electrical insulation performance, less affected by temperature, but poor corona resistance. Non toxic, weather resistant, stable against chemicals, low water absorption, resistant to weak acids and organic solvents, but not resistant to hot water immersion or alkali.

PET resin has a high glass transition temperature, slow crystallization rate, long molding cycle, long molding cycle, high molding shrinkage rate, poor dimensional stability, brittle crystallization molding, and low heat resistance.

Application fields of DuPont PET plastic raw materials in the United States:

PET is mainly used for fibers, with a small amount used for films and engineering plastics. PET fibers are mainly used in the textile industry. PET film is mainly used for electrical insulation materials, such as capacitors, cable insulation, printed circuit wiring substrates, electrode slot insulation, etc. Another application area of PET film is film substrate and baseband, such as film, X-ray film, recording tape, electronic computer tape, etc. PET films can also be made into metallized films by vacuum aluminum transfer, such as gold and silver wires, micro capacitor films, etc. Another use of PET is in blow molded products, used for packaging polyester bottles, food bottles, cosmetics bottles, bottled water bottles, and so on.
